About the Melanin Masterclass

Taking care of yourself is essential. This includes taking care of your skin, the largest organ in the human body. Erica Skynn found her passion for skin care about 20 years ago, and now she shares her passion with all who are interested. Derm 7 Academy offers classes where you can learn everything you need to know about skin types and products. We also offer internships where you can develop your  aesthetician career with the woman who started it all- Erica Skynn.

Meet your Melanin Masters

Erica is a licensed aesthetician with over 20 years of experience in the skin industry. Even after practicing skin care for years, she still dedicates herself to learning new techniques and products to offer the best results. Many love Erica because, as a person of color herself, she specializes in ethnic skin care. She makes all her clients feel welcome and comfortable, and her down-to-earth personality has brought in highly reputable clients, including well-known celebrities.

Erica wants everyone to have access to the best skincare and to have someone they can rely on to help with their routine. Through Derm 7 Academy's classes, students can learn how to care for skin on a surface and more profound level. Derm 7 aims to teach aestheticians and nurses about microneedling, melanated skin care, and how to use Derm 7 products.
